Go the fro!
While at indoor cricket yesterday afternoon I glanced up at the tv there that was showing the twenty20 cricket match between Australia and New Zealand. After about 10 minutes of trying to work out if it was a current match or a replay of the 1970's (there was no sound you see) I saw the funniest thing I had seen in a very long time!
Hamish Marshall's hair!
It looks like a muffin sitting on his head! I just burst out laughing every time he came on the screen! I've checked a few cricket sites this morning and it turns out the 70's gear was intentional and was done to get bigger ratings. New Zealand is only 2 hours ahead of Australia, we should have had the game shown here on regular tv! Of course it would rate! Ricky Ponting had an over where he hit 4 6's, a 2 and a 4! That's awesome! Glenn McGrath pretended he was going to bowl the last ball of the game underarm and umpire Billy Bowden gave him a red card! This is fantastic work bringing humour into what has been a pretty dull summer of cricket.
I was watching ER last night and they mentioned the Wiggles! The doctors were working to save a little girl and they asked her if she liked the Wiggles and who her favourite was. Murray was the answer of course! Dr Corday's answer was "I hate the bloody Wiggles" and you know what. Next episode her character was kicked out of the show. Ha ha, punishment for not liking the Wiggles I say!
