Definitely not even a little bit funny.

We saw Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy the other night and Marvin has been bothering me since. Well not Marvin himself but the fact that the robot obviously is depressed and no one gives a damn. They keep having things like "oh if you know someone who you think might be suffering from depression, see if you can help out, contact Beyond Blue and stuff like that". But when its in the context of a movie and the character involved is not human its supposed to be funny?

Well its not. Geez, you'd think after the recent events with Paul Hester and Rene Rivkin that it might be a good idea to take the subject seriously but hey, not if it makes money.

Oh and Marvin is not manically depressed either. At least lets be accurate.

Even better than the real thing.

Why bother with Logies when you can have the more accurate Fuglies?

Lately I have been -

Playing the new Legend of Zelda game for the Game Boy Advance called the Minish Cap. It is pretty cool.

Reading the new Artemis Fowl book, the Opal Deception. It wasn't even on the shelves in Kmart, I nicked it out of a big trolley of books waiting to be shelved. I did pay for it, $13 instead of $20 from Bookworld. How Angus and Robertson stay in business is beyond me. Awesome book so far though.

Avoiding the Urban Country Music Festival going on in Caboolture this weekend. Plenty of people in cowboys hats around town.

Delaying starting the big uni assignment. It's only worth 50%...

At a party for my Aunty Thelma's 70th birthday. Where other people of similar age to Aunty Thelma threw food at each other across 2 tables...something not even achieved at our nephew's 2nd birthday party.

Waiting for the iTunes shop to open in Australia, probably delayed to spite Russell Crowe.

Searching for decent maternity clothes and not finding any.

23 weeks tomorrow.
