Inflamable means flamable?!
Microwave popcorn, sounds simple but it is in fact an extremely complex thing to achieve. A few seconds over time and what do you get - a bag of smouldering crap and a kitchen full of smoke. Our first day back at playgroup after a long absence and what do I do? I ignite popcorn.

Oh no! *lol* Ahh, but this is a funny post. :-)
I've never overnuked microwave popcorn because I've always been paranoid about the bag itself popping or something. I think the trick is to hover by the microwave waiting for the popping to stop and then as soon as that happens whipping that bag out of the microwave as fast as humanly possible!
Shame you didn't get a photo of the "smouldering crap". Mmm, sounds tasty! ;-)

I followed the directions and cooked it for about 2 minutes and the bag looked pretty flat still. I thought 'that's a pretty low amount of popcorn, I might cook it a little bit more'. Not a good idea! The charred remains of the popcorn looked like a smoking chunk - kinda like a jagged meteorite thing. Damn, I could have saved it and sent it to NASA!

The black smoke stains on the wall behind our microwave will never come off. Popcorn burnt, paper bag on fire...
